An Acekard 2i, SuperCard DSone, SuperCardDSTwo, M3i Zero should be the carts you focus on. NO R4i's, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Any cart which works on the DSi should work on the DSi XL.

I would always side for the Acekard or the DSTWO. The Acekard is your basic cart for straight forward playing of DS games, while the DSTWO has added features such as Real Time Save, Real Time Guide, GBA Emulation. DIVX Playerback/ SNES emulation will be added in the future.

Remember the Acekard 2i will need it's firmware updating to be compatible with the DSi XL. You will need a DS Lite or DS Phat for this, or get one preupdated from somewhere like ShopTemp. A few people do seem to have connections with the and Acekard & DSi XL, which requires them to pull the Acekard slightly out of teh slot for the DSi XL to see it. It doesn't seem that widespread, but is something you should be aware of.
