I love how once helpme was shot down he stopped posting. Everything he said had no sources, no backup, and no sense.
The EZ-Flash Vi is a great card. Updates may be few and far between, but its far from abandoned. They take input from their users all the time. (The Game Problem thread on the official USA forum is a prime example.) And if anybody is a reliable source of information on the cart, its Mbmax.
I personally have never gotten Special Mode to work, but I'm on a DSi XL and I don't have a good enough card for it. But the team does work on this so that Special Mode isn't required so much.
