DSi sound issues

Hi, I have a dsi that I put twilight menu + unlaunch before that though I bought ace3ds+ cart from amazon to play DS games on, I started having this issue with the sound, what happens is it cuts off during gameplay of pretty much any game that is running off of the ace3ds+. I can lists the games I had played that it happens on not sure if that is going to help much. I did try playing on twilight instead and it didn't cut off the sound to my surprised. I tried to play a regular game cart (chrono trigger) and dragon quest V, I went to play them for a bit and found out they too had no sound after playing them for some time, I did a reset and the sound plays normal on the dsi menu, so confused what is happening

Any idea what is happening at all how I can fix the sound when playing a game from the cart?

EDIT: My 3ds doesn't have this issue with the ace3ds+ playing the same games.
