Gaming DSi slot 1 spring load - see question.

So I'm using and acekard 2i and I noticed that sometimes when I put it in during the part that it ''clicks inside'' you can hear some kind of cracking noise, imagine small plastic cracking or when you rub sand on paper... Anyways, sometimes it does that, and sometimes it doesn't (it's like it goes in smoother)... Have any of you experienced that and is it just normal plastic cracking sometimes or could there be something wrong with the plastic/spring load inside or whatever? I'm a new DSi owner so I'm a little paranoid since I haven't gotten used to the console yet and it seems so fragile... Please, help me out!

Try it with a retail game. See if you get the same problem.

i own a DSi and an ak2i only hear the click. you're prob just going paranoid over a new hand held, but let other people (the ones you trust) try it and ask them if they hear a thing.

It's not that loud, but you can hear it if you listen closely.
