Hacking DSi region

I have a question I am planning to buy a DSi NTSC (US, Canada) console and want to play EU (PAL) games with Acekard 2i AK2i Card is that possible?

All DS games are region free. DSi specific games such as DSiware are not however. Anything to do with the DSi shop is region locked, but you can play any DS game on any DS console.
