Gaming DSi R trigger (still) broken

I finally got the screwdriver for the DSi, but I've tried everything at this point. The wires look ok, the button itself was cleaned, the wires have a good connection, hell, I even turned on the console without it's trigger and the button still presses when it wants to.

Is there any way to fix this, or is it time for a replacement?
