I know this question has been asked for DS, even a sticky for DS, but I just got to thinking, & wanted to know for sure about this one.

By what I've read, the DSi has much more processing power than the DS has. I've heard that it has so much more, that DSiWare games would most likely be impossible to play DSiWare games on DS, if they used that extra power. For you that are experts on DSi, do you think it would be possible to emulate N64 on it, at atleast close to full speed? I know there would be a lack of buttons, I just wanted to know if it could run them.

Probably nowhere near close to full speed. Take a look at the PSP N64 emulator, even though it has made advancements it is still far from perfect.

I really doubt it would come. You'd have to do a lot of adjustments to get around a lack of joystick and probably wouldn't have enough room for C-pad as well. If only Nintendo made more N64 port games to the DS (like Super Mario 64).

Well Super Mario 64 runs very good!
Without Sound mostly at 26FPS (frameskip 2).
