Anyone know if the internet speed on the DSi is as bad as it is on the NDS. I am talking about how on the NDS the max speed is like 20 kbps. Do DSi's in DSi mode still have this limitation?

The wifi speed limit can be bypassed on the DS by linux.

Wow really? I thought it was a hardware limitation of the NDS' Wi-Fi adapter chip. Is DSlinux somehow overclocking the Wi-Fi chip or something?

Everybody thought it was a hardware limit, turns out it's software.

I've asked before why they don't just take the code dslinux is using and port it to normal homebrew stuff, but nobody answered.

Not exactly, but it's like 5 times as fast or so.

I wanted to say 1mbs, but it's been ages since I've read anything on it.
