Hacking Dsi Bricking

Any time you are updating a firmware on anything, you run the risk of bricking that device if you turn it off in the middle of updating.

dont do it would be my advice. most likely it wont let you if you have low battery. i know the psp must be plugged in and have at least 75% battery or else the updater wont run. dont know for sure about the dsi but i assume it has similar safety precautions. btw, is there any other way currently to brick a DSi? just curious

I would like to note: You can halt Wii firmware updates by forcing a shut-down, even if it's in-progress, and you'll merely revert back to where you were before the update, if I'm not mistaken. So, unless we know for certain it would brick the DSi, we've still an unanswered question on our hands.
