Hacking DS Wrist Strap with thumb nub?

Is it still possible to get a DS Wrist Strap with the thumb nub? (The one that was with the original DS.) I really liked that thumb nub, and would like another one. (My first was still attached to my original DS when I traded it towards a Lite.)

$4 for that piece of crap, all it ever did was scratch my DS screen.
And the wristband somehow got irreversibly tangled.

I suggest you not use it since the huge surface area of the nub of it makes it prone to sandwich a dust speck between it and the DS screen, so it's easy to scratch.

I don't recall ever needing to use it. Haven't played it in a while, but iirc it was just d-pad and buttons.

This was actually the reason I wanted to get it. Lol. I never had issues with my original. Dust sandwiching never happened with me because I clean my screens and accessories regularly.
