Hacking DS TV tuner

i know there was a super sweet one for japan, but did anything ever reach NTSC or PAL?

I bought one from Hong Kong for my GBA years ago. It could not pick up any signals so I just sent it back.

NTSC is Japan too remember, but that DS TV tuner tunes in to Digital signals, already mainstreamed by Japan, and we In America use Analogue signals. Digital signals will replace them in I believe 2009. So that is why you couldn't get any signals.

I remember seeing advertisements of those for gamegear. They always looked so freaking awesome but I never had a gamgear so I could only dream...

I would consider getting something like that for the DS if it worked well and was reasonably priced

Because the second one is Way to big to me, and the first one is nice
Though in the netherlands we only hav Nederland 1/Nederland 2/Nederland 3 to receive the other channels are over Cable or satelite

Shame it hadn't come out over here yet as we've had digital for a few years now, of course saying that its a bit of a arse when a big bus or lorry goes by and its goes off for a few seconds

actually if its a digital receiver you could get almost all the cable channels as well.
