Well is there a homebrew that will allow me to manage saves on my DS?
One where I can switch between full name and short name for saves and do some converting/backup would be awesome!

Or am I out of luck?

edit: fixed the horrible typo's :s

Well...AKAIO on the AK2 can do stuff sort of like that, but only on a limited, per-game basis.

Guess I'm out of luck then, I own a SuperCard DSONEi and will soon own a M3i Zero.

PS: love your avatar! thats from ???? ???? right?

Haha, yup.

And I think the DSONEi actually does have a way to use multiple save slots. Not sure exactly how to do it, but the review on this site says it should be able to. But the save names are limited to the short ones, I think 8 characters is the limit.

most flashcarts should have simple save backup and restore.

Yeah but it crashes or corrupts the save on copy

apparently hankchill released his rom manager "Rominator" for free.
try that. it has auto save backup...or you can set it anyways

I'm using that to copy my games on my microSD, but the SuperCard still uses the horrible short named saves and rominator doesn't find those.

edit: Hopefully it will work my with M3i Zero ^^; then I can use the SuperCard for development.
