Gaming DS Lite freezes or shuts off

One of my DS Lites has some issues that I can probably fix, except for one thing. For some reason crashes in the menu after some time (sometimes one minute, sometimes even 15 minutes) even if I'm not doing anything. When it's in game (download play because currently it doesn't have a functional card reader in slot 1) it will crash too, but sometimes it will shut itself off. Maybe it has something to do with wireless communication, I don't know, I wasn't sitting in the menus for too long (except download play I think it's the only place in the menus that crashed for now)

I noticed that when I slap it in the bottom right corner of the bottom half it will freeze or the top screen will go black (I don't know about the bottom screen because it's broken and always displays white). Maybe that's the cause, but why is that happening? Though it freezed many times when there wasn't any movement too.

Edit: it will glitch sometimes too
