Hacking DS Lite double black screen?

Hey everyone, I was playing my M3 Real the other day, and I was running a GBA rom. Just like usual, nothing changed. I got up to go to the bathroom, and when I came back, something weird had happened. The screen had gone white and kind of glitchy. Kind of weird, but it'd happened with video games in the past, so I assumed it was just a fluke and turned it off. When I turned it back on, nothing happened. The green power light went on, but no screens came up. No matter how many times I turned it back on and off, with different combos of stuff in, no dice. I decided to let it just stay on, let the battery run dry, and maybe it would restart or something. No dice. I tried later on the next day, and it turned on once, froze, and went back to whatever. What happened? Any solutions?
