I gave up making full theme support for NXStation.
So alongside NXStation, there will be NXStationB, a Batocera Port for Horizon OS, hitting v1.0 very very soon for public test.
NXStation will be lightweight, no-nonsense frontend for general usage and developed objectively for ease of use.
NXStationB will be frontend for advance user and its extensive options.
A completely different project but both home will be at NXStation.com with separate Github repository.
Support/Feature:
- Bundled with Simple Life theme.
- Scraping with ScreenScrapper.
- Custom core support soon (for setting to other cores NRO like tico etc)
- Swap A and B navigation button.
Current state:
- Full smooth performance with occasional lag.
- Fixed video/audio pipeline.
- Full support for grapple to jump back to frontend after closing game but batocera load/boot again. Trying to make it instant return to frontend without the loading part.
- Full theme support so far, tested with es-carbon, carbon8 (lightweigth), es-simple. Theme downloader working.
Many of the batocera feature are not tested yet as I dont have time to test every single stuff so expect v1.0 still come with some bug but hopefully no hard breaking bug.

For the concerned, this will be open source and source will be release soon but probably not together with v1.0. but very soon after that.
Small note of RA: Latest RA (1.22.2) for switch is dated back in Nov 2025 and with latest FW 22.5, its crash a lot on my switch even directly using RA and its libnx core. Its stable enough on FW20.4 that i am using before that though. Due to this, i did compile my own RA, a reduced/lite version with feature that likely cause crashing was stripped down. Furthermore, the libnx core also cause the crashing due to the FW changes and similarly, i also have recompiled most of the libnx cores supported in NXStation. I call this RA as 'rax' and its cores as Rax core. Rax for RA that have been stripped/crossed. PM me if anyone interested.
