Hacking DS lite Case changing!!...problem

Soo i got a Pikachu casing for my ds lite...and i go to put it back...and turn it on...and ONLY the bottom screen FLASHES...then the system shuts down..any ideas?

Check the ribbon cables again!

YOu probably didn't pushed the ribbon cable all the way in its housing, it is very well known critical point...just open it again, push ribbon all the way, but carefully, and than lock it in place..

It should do the trick!!
