Hacking DS Lite Acekard 2i help

Sorry im new to the forum but ive been searching all over the internet to try and figure out how to fix the issue. Ive been working on 2 DS's one being a DS and the other being a DS Lite. i ordered a acekard 2i for the and both of the cards work in the original DS but neither of them work in the DS Lite. i tried the paper trick and it didnt work, im still getting no DS Card message on the main screen. I was wondering if there is anything else i can do.

if the card works on one system, then its not the msd, software, etc. it must be a contact issue. it could be you need to physically move the pcb. you might have a bent pin on the ds lite. the paper trick will only work if the issue is related to raising the contacts. when you attempt it, start out VERY thin and work your way up. i found that really thin cuts of magazine paper or phone book paper worked the best.
