Thanks! How are you changing the icons?
I did it by using dsbuff and changing the icon of the DS homebrew and converting it to DSiWare with that python script and make_cia, but there was no actual content, it was just an icon for looks :P

Here it is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2_1xHkEp2_6LUd0MV9BWDlGYlE/view?usp=sharing

For the forwarders, I used a hex-editor, editing the R4i Gold Launcher to replace the header, TID, and banner icon, also a bit of the DSi extended header for the animated DSi banner icons to work.

@Bobesh8 I have that exact flash cart. How should I go about testing it?

cool!
but I can't get the rom to autoboot! UGH!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i tried default.nds, bootme.nds, and replacing the DEFAULT_DS_.nds thing with the rom

What if we could have a forwarder for every rom in out flashcart SO WE WOULDN'T need to waste time!
Of course first I would need to get a flashcart that works with forwarders

If ds forwarders get popular it's only matter of time

But I CANT GET MY GAME TO AUTOBOOT JUST NORMALLY IN MY FLASHCART! I think I have an acekard clone but everything I tried doesn't work
rename rom to bootme.nds rename to default.nds overwrite the DEFAULT_DS_.nds with the rom change autobootlastromplayed from 0 to 1 in the config and thats it anything else?

Download this pack.

Extract what in "for TTDS microSD" to the flashcard microSD card.
For the case of Super Mario 64 DS, rename abpathsetter.nds to SM64DS.dat (as located on the launcher (NDS) at 0xD1A0). The homebrew I created (already DLDI patched) will set the autoboot rom path in YSMenu.ini on the microSD root, and boot YSMenu.nds also on the root, so rename/backup any existing YSMenu.ini file that's anywhere on the card.

Using a hex-editor, fill 0x22DE7 through 0x22EE8 with 00s, and set the full ROM path at 0x22DE7 (like "Games/SM64DS.nds"), use "Paste write" if path is copied.

Finally, install the CIA and launch it.

Testing now. Does that mean we can only have one installed at once? Seeing as they all write to YSMenu.ini.
