I'd like to buy a DS headset, but i'm not so keen on how the official headset is looking, so i'm considering getting a third party device.

Now it'd be great if anyone could give me any recommendations of brands who make them.

And even better if someone knows how to get one in melbourne (although this is only an extra, i can buy online)

Thx,

OSW

thx mate, checking it out.

... why do all these headsets only have one earbud ...

I think most consumers prefer to be able to listen to their surroundings, for example, while driving a car

Nope, the psp headset wont work. If you check the jack on the psp headset, it merely adds a 4th ring to the haedphone plug, whereas the ds headset uses the little socket next to the headphone jack.

I'd rather they make a little stick of a microphone rather than a full on headset!! The DS is portable after all and I dont want to be lugging around a follow up handset!

@ fli_guy: I agree. Why isn't there an adaptor to use standard headsets? I have the official headset but I am going to buy the Turtlebeach one as soon as I can afford it. I hate mono sound!
