It's funny how everyone agrees (including me) that the DS gaming is not "dead" and yet there are 8 people who voted for "yes"...
some PSP funboys I presume...?
Yes because someone likes the PSP means they're automatically fanboys that hate the DS. And who's to say they are fanboys? Maybe they just think that the shovel ware is overpowering the decent games.

I didn't say that whoever likes the PSP is automatically a fanboy who hates the DS -.-
it's people who vote just to annoy even though the truth is that there are many great games...
PSP is just an example...

What I love about PSP fanboys is that they constantly bitch about how bad the DS is...yet they want a DS emulator for the PSP.

No Ds Gaming is not Dead. Ds games and apps are still as fun and they use to be. PSP just have better graphics ect however i still dont think that makes them better to a Dual Screen DS or DSI

Don't forget Infinite Space. That comes out at the start of next year, I think...

Spring and Summer have always been the shit seasons for DS. Thats true to any platform.

Just because YOU don't like whats comming out, doesn't mean a thing to anyone.

For example: You're waiting for Pokemon? Well I fucking hate Pokemon. Its nothing but the same re-released but "Slightly different" game than it was in 1998. I don't see why people are dumb (Or get excited) enough to enjoy whats pretty much remakes of Red and Blue. But just because YOU'RE only looking forward to other games, doesn't mean the DS is dead for everyone else.

I'm looking forward to: Sushi Go Round, Dirt 2, Need for Speed Nitro, Zelda Spirit Tracks, Wizard of Oz RPG, A new Kingdom Hearts, Phantasy Star Zero, Gauntlet, Scribblenaughts, A Witch's Tale, C.O.P. (Kinda), Mario and Luigi 3 (Kinda), Cooking Mama 3 (Kinda), Final Fantasy Legend 2, Final Fantasy Gaiden, Nostalgia, Call of Duty, Lego Rock Band (Because it will be the closest thing to Amplitude for DS), Ragnarok Online DS, and Gavity Zero Racing (If it isnt cancelled already) And thats only from September to 2010. So I'm not even including 2010 tiles like Sands of Destruction, Infinite Space, Golden Sun or Shin Megami Tensei sequel. Nor am I counting Japanese games. OR am I counting the New Super Mario Bros Lost Levels hack thats being worked on in a hacking community outside of GBAtemp.

In my opinion, I'd say the DS was the most "alive" platform. Personally I think the Wii is dead.

Ok i see im getting a lot of heat from this thread but on the flip side there are only two people who actually make a decent argument and those are granville and Guild McCommunist the rest of you don't argue the point at all.
I feel that it isn't so much the games that are dead but more so the quality EG. Summon Night 1-2 were awsome games but the ones they released for ds were god awful and as to ff 3/4 no snes or nes games should ever be overhauled and ported the felt like a poor attempt to bring back the good final fantasy's seeing as after 10 they just died.
Didn't see the next megeman release but that your be good 3 was 1 and 2 not so much.
DBZ Attack of the Saiyans i didn't know about but OMG it Looks awesome.

Yeah, I have the feeling Nintendo is focusing on complete other things. And in the meanwhile, to keep the simple fans happy, they throw us a DSi bone with the words "YOU WANT THIS! YOU REALLY DO!" written on it. They don't release anything worth mentioning on the DSi, no, they're saying "here, this is a DS-like device and you can customize it. So go and customize! We've got better things to do!"
I don't know what Nintendo is doing, but it sure doeas not feel good. Somehow I have a strong feeling they once again start neglecting the Nintendo fans... again...

I think both psp and ds are dieing notin good on them. All babyish games on ds, and almost notin on the psps.
So a game with no blood is a game just for babies and kiddies. Nice way of thinking man...

Opinions, Opinions. Just because a game has lesser graphics, just because a game is a remake, doesn't make it bad. I could name over 200 good games for the DS, but I have better things to do then that. Once again, just because you dislike something, doesn't mean everyone else. DS gaming is nowhere near dead. Also...did you know...the shovelware...people actually do buy them... Yeah, I know... Not everyone who owns a DS is a hardcore gamer. You'd do well to remember that.

Again, just because you think the DSi is worthless, doesn't mean everyone else does. There're a lot of good DSiWare games. As for why there aren't many DS games with DSi enhanced software... It's because people like you can't see part your armlength. No one is making many...because people aren't buying the DSi like they bought the DS Lite. They aren't neglecting us, they're doing what they can. Now I'm not Nintendo fanboy, so don't even try saying I am. The DSi isn't as unworth it as you think it may be. It's not a "DS-like" device, because...oh wait...it plays DS games, looks like a DS, acts like an updated DS...oh yeah...and it's made by the people who made the DS. Remember. Opinions.

The ds has many games which need use of brains not like the PSP where most of the games are hardcore.

By "hardcore", do you mean mind-numbingly dull? Everything on the PSP is mostly bloody. Gorey. That's why MOST people like it.
