Hello!

I like to mod Nintendo DS Consoles, including 3DS systems. I was wondering if anyone knew of any debug tools that would work as an .nds file.

I was imagining something that had a few basic options, such as a microphone tester, button tester, and a color display that allowed me to see if all the colors work.

Sorry if this isn't the correct place to ask this question. I'm still new to the gbatemp forums!

Thanks!

Normally if someone asks for debug tools we expect they want to pull apart DS code and see how it and is constituent files work, and then manipulate it.

But yeah the link above is probably the best of the various hardware testing programs (the others tending to be older and less featured), stuck on a flash cart and used by many when they are testing out a second hand DS. I don't know what goes for the 3ds -- the circle pad, few more accessory buttons and a different type of touch screen all being inaccessible to DS homebrew (even DSi homebrew).
