Hacking Ds backups?

How would I get the data off of my DS games so I can put them on a flash cart?

I just recently saw a device called the DSLinker. Could you plug in a commercial cartridge and still read the data?

EDIT: Full game and save data. And if necessary, voice over/graphics.

Wouldn't you need a slot-2 device to begin with?

If you had a flash cart anyways, I don't see why you would ever need to extract anything but the save data. Any other data you wanted could be extracted from a rom a whole lot easier...

If you want to backup your commercial Nintendo DS game carts, all you need is either a Wi-Fi connection & a Slot-1 flashcart or just an old Slot-2 flashcart.
Google search for Rudolph's Wi-Fi dumper tool or Rudolph's Slot-2 dumper.

With either one of those tools, you're able to dump the save file from your commercial Nintendo DS game cart to your flashcart or computer, and you're also able to dump the full commercial Nintendo DS game cart ROM to your flashcart or computer.
