    Build: 6 March, 2010

    Hey All!

I have finally updated DS App Studio with the new and improved 3D engine implemented into DS App Studio. Many new features have been added to the software, and there are many new things you can do in DS App Studio, such as:

    • New 3D model loading(requires converting, which converter is included with DS App Studio)

    • Added controls to interface(such as the new 3D model workspace)

    • New start page

    • Better image graphics(improved using a different format)

    • New options, such as if you want to delete the build files

    • Updated syntax(I will make a new manual for the latest version soon)

    • Improved file structure(making sure to save space)

    • Model viewer within model dialog

Here are a few bugs I fixed along the way while developing DS App Studio:

    • Fixed the background glitch(still glitches, but is still better)

    • Project glitch(where people would create projects, but it would say it didn't exist)

    • Fixed the plugin problem, where the plugin would be corrupt

Here are things I have thought about changing or adding in the future:

    • New DS App Studio file format(*.dsp)

    • Better model dialog

    • More project selections(such as DSGDK project)

    • More syntax for logic

    • A more efficient debug process

    More will be coming. I am proud to announce;

This is the final beta before the first version of DS App Studio is released...maybe
There are a few bugs, such as the only-one sprite glitch, which may take a while to fix, and some of the other bugs that people have caught along the way. I also am looking forward towards the fun for making this program compatible for all systems(being sarcastic), but I will enjoy the fact that others will be able to use this program.

To download the new beta, you can go to our official site: AwsomiSoft.com

Note: I am currently looking for people who would like to download this installation and make a mirror for it so I can put it on my site if people have problems downloading it. PM me if you would like to volunteer for that job.

Report bugs here and at the AwsomiSoft community forums. Thank you!

I am having a problem with this application. I have installed it to my flash drive, but it still thinks all of the resources are in C:\DSAppStudio.

Edit)I have uninstalled and reinstalled to my hard drive and will now proceed with testing the program again.
Edit2)It will not let me compile the file for testing.
Edit3)I cannot figure out this programming language! Where do I learn this?
Edit4)Nevermind. This program will not let me do a thing! I cannot use this!

    2) What is the error you get?

    3) There is the manual you can use

Try reinstalling devkitpro by going to help and then click update devkitpro. Wait till it is done

I have to fix that glitch as well where it shouldnt detect that you have dkpro if you dont have it.

Edit: I finally found what your problem is. I will be coming out with a fixed one soon.

    2) It says 'make' or something is not a valid command...
    3) It did not come with a manual...

Here are the following questions to answer:

    1) Which version of Windows do you have?

    2) Where did you install DS App Studio(which directory, ex: C:)

Please answer the following questions so I can help you more.

    1)Windows 7.
2)I first installed it to my flash drive, in directory E:, but as it gave me Framework errors so I uninstalled it from there and installed it to C:. After that it worked as it should, minus the temporary compiling feature for test runs. (And, if I can remember correctly, also minus a manual.)

If you have Windows 7, than I am sorry, I have to say, that it currently doesn't work on Windows 7.
Try using Virtual Machine and get the Windows XP on it, and then install it on there.

Another release of app studio.. I've been following this from the start, and it's getting better and better. Mabey it would be nice to have some easy tutorials implemented, like in Game maker (its down at your taskbar, just sayin' [IMG])

Anyways, Ill give it a shot, thnx RCM
