I suck at baseball, football is my thing. Video Games FTW.
My review:
5.5/10
This game ISN'T as bad as you guys say. It's hella lot better than marker man!
You have 3 options in-game.
Exhibition, and 2 minigame sort things you play once or twice. Leave it, and come back with friends. This game can be REALLY fun with friends, if you wanna compare it to the SNES' highscores.
Home Run mini game: You get 5 balls, and a chance to get more by getting some home runs in a row. You just simple hit the balls. Very simple. It records how much homeruns you got in highscores. You could play with your friends while on the bus (short trips), who don't have DS' which is a plus, but no multiplayer what so ever is a shame. This game really was rushed, had lots of potential.
Pinball Minigame: Basicly the same except you are in, what seems to be, a las vegas casino, where you try to hit the ball to hit different things, like lights and taxis and stuff. And you get points according to where you hit. A little bit better than the other minigame. Sometime you get more balls.
There are preset scores on both minigames you can try and beat. And it's alot easier to make a hit in these than in exhibition.
Exhibition: It's ACTUALLY playable! I was expecting this game to be alot worse that it really is. It's really simple.
Pitching: You pick Cutter, Change Up, Curve Ball or Fast Ball. You choose where you want to hit the ball and then you set the power. If the guy hits it a circle appears on the field telling you where the ball will land. It's easy, yet hard.
Batting: Same old, same old. Press A when your ready and try and hit the ball. Bleh.
Grahpics are pretty decent. Animations are crap. The batter looks like he is floating and the audience looks like something out of a NES game.
I'd say buy this game for 5 or 10 bucks at most.
