All of a sudden "heaven" became "paradise". I wonder about the politics of the rename.

Most european (non-english) never heard the word "heaven", while "paradise" is quite understandable (for exemple, heaven is said "paradie" in french).

Don't bother with this game though: just another stupid gotta use touchscreen game... "flicking" bah...

This has absolutely nothing to do with Rhythm imho... You have to have absolutely no feel for rhythm at all to get this flicking thing to work, since you need to be touching the screen before you should actually be doing something rhythm-wise.

If you really want a rhythm game, buy Elite Beat Agents.

Hm... I had no sense of rhytm when I attempted this a few months ago and I still felt it was good. Tou don't really need to describe the game, most people would have known it, it had great hype.

this game is very fun, better than EBA, i can play through everything without failing with my eyes closed and only listening to the rhythm. its possible to have your stylus NOT touch the screen before flicking.

I had a friend at school who was always like, "You gonna get Rhythm Heaven when it comes out?"

This kid only heard these names by hype, yet still gave a crap. Didn't even know what the game was about.

I agree; this game is just a bunch of shitty "rhythm" minigames.

its not that people dont have rhythm
its just that alot of the mini-games are just poorly executed

some work great (very enjoyable to play) while others are just a plain nightmare

I'm a drummer - I got Rhythm, but 9 out of 10 minigames I find myself wondering whether the game is even keeping time right... and flicking has nothing to do with rhythm - it makes too easy games harder - that's all.

I removed it from my flashcart since I'm really worried this game will actually destroy my feel of rhythm.

Are you being for real, cause that's hard to believe, DK is Nintendo and made in japan, Sea of thieves was from Microsoft, in America. I'm not calling you a liar, just didn't know.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
