And I found DTM Race Driver quite good actually. And Diddy Kong Racing wasn't that bad.

I guess it depends on your taste in racing games, but for me the two halfway decent ones are Juiced 2 and Speed Racer.

Asphalt Urban GT 2 sucked.

A few of the street racing games were alright, but I always feel like a douche playing those games

Those screens and that review were from Corvette Evolution, I understand that this is a different racer.

The developers of this one are Firebrand Games where as Corvette was by the dreadful Jack of All Games.

i own, and enjoyed need for speed underground 2.
closest thing to PC quality i can think of in racing games.
i also like prostreet, but that's only because it has a dance dance revolution clone as minigame.

if you ask me, right now best 3 racers to have on your DS are mario kart(as kart racer) speed racer(as sci-fi racer) and nfs:U2(as realistic racer)
