Lots of style in ultimately a simple game design. It's just Breakout, but it's cool to see just how far the designers take it.
8.5 Graphics
Bright and vibrant and full of life. Lots of cool, subtle visual effects going on.
7.0 Sound
The music has as much style as the visuals, but the tunes can get a little repetitive and distracting.
7.5 Gameplay
It's all a bunch of moving left and right (and occasionally, all over the place) whacking a ball and knocking out blocks. It gets old quickly, but take a break and you'll get some good use out of it.
7.0 Lasting Appeal
There's a rather fun and simple single cartridge multiplayer game here, as well as some hidden extras activated by scores and the system clock.

looks crap, like all araknoid games, i wouldnt even buy this if it was 2p. i dont care if
I`ve been waiting for this, too. It is nice, better than the other arkanoid clones on DS. I get why it`s called nervous brickdown, it drives me mad when the ball can`t get to the upper screen where the blocks are, then it gets more fast and it goes down, I lose a ball.
IGN tested it

though I know it's safe, I get nervous reading the word BRICK in the title..
How do you know what framerate it runs at.This game only runs at 30 FPS, and I think it really hurts the gameplay. I would gladly give up the 3D backgrounds that I don't even have time to look at if it could run at 60 FPS.
M3 simply too.Bad news. This game crashes on one of the final game types, Retro, on both my DSX and M3 SD.

By looking at it. 30FPS and 60FPS both have a distinctive look and feel to them, and I can tell the difference quite easily. This game only runs at 30 FPS, and I think it really hurts the gameplay. Restart: Y / Trim: Y / Faster Game Play: Y / Enable "Patch Cartridge Access" Compatibility: HighAnyone have any luck getting this to run on the Supercard Lite yet?
