I don't think it is.. I remember from the old days those older pc games that went with the names like 'actua' soccer and this game title has a similiar title graphics to those.
(couldn't find one for the pc)

So this game can actually be of good quality, if it isn't underground pool with just another name which would make it really weird..

Put this on the R4 and tried it. This is Underground pool under a different name in europe. Why they change the names completely is beyond me. I do think Actua Pool is a better name though.

I really wish there was a good pool game for the DS. They all suck so far; the closest has been the billiards in clubhouse but its not pool.

That one sucks the most. It wasnt even pool....more like sliders lol.

But personally i loved the shooting mechanics (use of the stylus) in clubhouse games, but the actual physics realism (movement of the balls) was pretty poor.

i tested this game (underground pool tho) but shooting style was terrible and complex, needed to take a leaf out of clubhouses book.
