dreamcast?

totally. most dreamcast iso's are self-booting. some of the older games required a boot disc tho.

yeah they can! .... They can also run disks with a cut down version of Windows CE and a modded version of DX 6 too

I bought mine right at the end of the dreamcast's life cycle, but it does have ① on the bottom of it, so I'm good to go? Are there any sites you can recommend on what to do to get started? Or do I simply burn the image and pop it in?

Some isos require a patch for the DC to read them.
Use BootDreams to apply the patch and burn the game

Get yourself some eumlators here. Note that every console up to SNES works beautifully. SNES runs slowly but it's playable. It's a little bit faster when you turn off the sound.

hmm, there's no longer a d/l link on that site available. Anyone know of an alternate location for bootdreams?

I was able to find 1.05a from a torrent..but I can't find the newest version 1.60c anywhere. I don't have anything against 1.05a, but I'd like to try and find the newest version, too.
