A new DSiWare title has been announced- Dragon Quest Wars. It's a strategy RPG collaboration between Intelligent Systems and Square Enix. This was actually a new trademark I posted a few weeks ago. Now for the screens-

    Translation details-
    - The first of 6 DSi-exclusive games from Square-Enix & Intelligent Systems in the works (doesn't specify if the rest are DSiWare or DSi-cart games)
    - Supervisor is series creator Yuji Horii. Art director is Akira Toriyama. Music by Kouichi Sugiyama.
    - Control classic monsters from the Dragon Quest series, each with different stats and skills.
    - 4-player online multiplayer battling confirmed.

Set for June this year for Japan. No US date. 500 DSi points to download.

This could be good news for future Nintendo and Square Enix collab projects. To my knowledge, the only previous collaborations between the companies have been Mario RPG for SNES and the more recent Mario Hoops for DS.

Wow, if this proves to be good, this could be a reason for me to buy a DSi....
I love Intelligent Systems their SRPG's, Advance Wars and Fire Emblem DS are some of my most played games

The DSi is starting to shape up nicely..... Square is actually producing warez on the DSi now, so we can see more quality titles [IMG]

But I'll wait and see if there is a PSP Go! before buying the DSi of course....

This might finally give me a reason to spend my free 1000 DSi points.
In the 6 months it takes to come out though...

I'm hopin' for No$GBA to taqke care of this, as I really don't want to justify a brand new system just for a Fire Emblem-esque Dragon Quest game (even if those two games are fetish fests for me).

I don't believe no$gba supports DSiWare games at all. A new emulator would have to be made for specific DSi functions.
