This synthing stuff is rather strange. It's like skills you inherit drop down to zero although you keep the points. For example I had a healer skill with zing already and after synth back to only heal but the same skill points. WTF is going on? The entire stat system is the most messed up one I've seen in my lifetime. The stats have next to no influence at all. So some monsters with lower stats have more MP/HP whatever than a monster with much higher stats. I really hate inconsistent stat systems. Kills all the sense of using a stat system in the first place. :/

I got 1hr on the game so far, trying to raise my drakee, slime, and platypunk to around or to 10 before I get serious. Wasted 20min earlier getting screwed by a stupid ugly twink thing and a shadowy thing in a cave being around lv5. :\

Holy crap... I'm 3rd place in the region tourny. >__> (Yes Team Risen - JPN)
I heard cross regional relationships are healthy.

Pretty much. I mean slimes give you 1 EXP most of the time. And later levels take tons of EXP to level up.

Yeah this game is all about leveling there is a code on the custom Cheat.Dat that gives 2x exp and gold.

This really speeds the game up and technically is cheating yes.

I like the game quite a bit and if you guys are unaware you can tell your monsters exactly what to do.

This is invaluable for boss fights and the tougher monsters.

On wifi there is always this giant golden dragon that completely wipes my team out. Does anybody know how to get it or what its name is?

that thing does 460+ damage to my monsters while my monsters only got about 200 - 250 hp (lvl 20s rank A +6)
wtf.gif

can't remember his name but i think he's rank 5 in regional

Anybody got a link and / or picture of a legend for all the various monster types, i.e. nature, dragon, slime, etc.?

I'm lost in the moon temple. How do I get that stupid step switch to work? I've gotten the sun part already, but I am unable to complete the moon portion.

Ok, I've got a problem. I've got a copy of DQM:J on my R4 and for the most part everything works fine. However when I go to Infant Isle, if I try to enter the building in front of the docks, the game crashes. Anyone else had a problem like this?

Everything has worked fine so far on my R4. Sorry.

Thats exactly my problem and on the screen it sais to find and beat commissioner snap.

The moon temple is tricky. You can only access half of it from the sun/moon plaza. You need to go back to Domus and talk to Dr. Snap. You'll battle him on Xeroph and win or lose, the story will advance. The bridge on Infant Isle will open, giving you a new jetty to the other side of Celeste. From the other side of Celeste, you'll be able to complete the moon temple.
