Try making your wizard skill level to be 100
I don't think that'll do anything lol
100% right! I was thinking that if you maxed the wizard skills, you could carry over those skills.

The best then that the guy could do would be a sword wielding wizard.

Are you sure to save your changes ? Because I don't have any other idea.

On another note, can someone give me a good hex value for a Kawasaki locker map ? I tried the one given on this topic, but I dunno if I messed up or if the code is false, but I get only crappy chests in it.

Kawasaki Locker map data :
Location 90
Map no 183
Seed 15522

If that's the one you have, then I suggest you keep trying. The contents of chests can vary greatly, like getting Hephastus Flames or Mini Medals, but using the proper timer method, you can get it to yield what you want :

It's in Japanese, translated through Google, it's good enough to guess which is what overall.

Yeah I saved it since the other changes I did were applied. And do you know the digits for the default hair colors? My main got an untextured white color, I want it to be silver again (changed him to a female).

Great tool, bad idea for folks who really love this game, though. After over 100 hours with the game, I started fooling around the save editor. I initially just wanted to up my guest count at the inn, but the temptation to give myself items was too great. After playing for only a short while with all that stuff, I lost interest in the game. I ended up starting a new file, played through the entire story again, and had just as much fun as the first time. This game is all about the pursuit of "stuff." Giving it all to myself just sucked the life out of the game.

The trick is to have some self-control. It's tempting to just give yourself the best of everything, but there are other ways you can go about it. Personally, I give myself some of the raw alchemy ingredients that you can just find in the overworld, simply to reduce some of the tedium of having to walk all over the map just to collect 2-3 ingredients, then having to leave your DS on and wait for 6 hours for the respawns. Also, adding some of the more popular grotto maps, since I can't really get them via tags.

I used the save editor mostly to create 30 unique tags to use with other people, so they can complete their inn, since mine has been done legit before at the GameStop event.

I also messed around for their benefit :
-Each save had a japanese map or legacy map to offer.
-The first few saves have a custom DQVC list done. Most of them are some of the higher alchemy stuff like Lucida shards, but I also put in Life/Goddess Rings and Meteorite Bracers since they are useful for stuff like Falcon Sword upgrade. Also seeds to avoid having to farm too many. I put them up for reasonable prices too.
-I dressed up all of the characters and renamed them to match the clothes, so I have the entire DQ4/5/6/7/8 casts to trade up, just for fun. Better than 30 clones of the same character at least.

When using the save editor, what determines how far along in the main story line you are?

I'm nearing the end of the game on my first run through on my legit card and as much as I try, I can't seem to use savsender to transfer my save file over to my comp so I can use it on my Acekard version of the game.

So I thought I'd see the story through to the end on my original cart, then try and create almost a blank slate for my flashcard save, for post-game fun!

But looking at the save game editor, it seems really confusing.

Or... I could just start again on my flashcard from the beginning and use 2x exp, 2x gold and fast text speed to rush through it.

Hmmm....

I've never seen a save editor strong enough to even control the storyline of the game. Not even Pokesav can put you any further in Pokemon.

How do I give myself the Estark map so I can give to people?

Go to the Treasure tab, click on the + to create a new map, select the "Devil" button to make it a Boss only. Now the tricky part is sifting through the japanese names to determine which one is Estark. I had to do some trial & error work to find the appropriate boss. Hopefully, update 0.7 will have those names translated. Not sure on the release date of that, though.

Estark is the 8th one from the top of the list. I'd paste the kanji, but I can't copy it and don't feel like trying to find each one.

He said he was working on it when he has time, for completion's sake at least.

All of the most needed parts are done, namely the items. The rest is mostly for completion.

Is the translation still progressing? Or should we expect no more future releases?

I'm working on it...slowly.

I'll fill you in on what takes up my time:
Work
Building an arcade cabinet(almost done, just need to paint and get everything wired up...controllers done it's great).
Working on a game for XBLIG.
This

What I work on is a whim, but I'm close to releasing a new version.
