You have to install .net framework v1.0 and 2.0.

That's what I did to get it working from this error.

Thanks for the (partial) translation guys!

That's what I just had to use it for, since I don't know anybody (let alone 30 people) who play this awesome game. Although I can see it coming in handy if I ever need more "Sorcerer's stones", because they seem to not only be rare, but also essential for some of the recipes (had to search hours to finally find 2 of them before).

What does this framework do, and I have to install both of them or just 1.0 or 2.0? I'm sorry, but for stuff like this i'm all like wtf. Just a bit tehcnologically challenged -.-

Okay I installed it and it's still giving me the exact same message. I guess I'll just have to play the game Legit. >_

Hmm I wanted to test this out, and tried it on my Supercard. I have a retail game, so I just wanted to test this.

I made a new game, got back to the Observatory and saved so I could monkey around. I edited things like main character levels and all of that, but none of the NPC's will talk and none of the storyline stuff is complete.

Is there a way around this with the editor, or will I have to somehow track someone's game save info down?

I'd love to have this setup with 4 massively stacked characters and go for the hardest grottos and such without all the work

are the accolades in numerical order?

my computer looks at the accolade's font as if it were blocks

Yeah, they are.

It's looking at em like they are blocks because you dont have the language installed as I havent finished that section yet.

As an update, Im going to try to get something out this weekend. I've pretty much fixed the garbling I did to the wifi shop and have added the rest of the characters into the string encoding. Id like to have a few more things translated before I release 0.7 though(I'd like to have it fully done in 4 updates, but meh I can always split it up some more).

Thanks man! It works now. Now I don't have to desperately find people for the inn.

Thank you so much.

How exactly does this thing work? I've put in a lot of hours thus far, and I don't want to mess up my current save. Does it add things to your current save, or must you create a completely new save to be used with the game?

If you're worried, just backup your save and reload it of the edited save was messed up. Make sure you do some backreading on the thread to find out how it works. Certain parts of it, like Treasure Maps, can corrupt the save if the data isn't properly matched.

Yeah, it just adds...or rather modifies whats already there. If you're truly worried, make a back up of your pre-modified save file then open up the other copy of the save using the Editor. This is what I did. You'll find that it basically reads all the data stored and fills everything out for you. At this point, you can freely modify anything and do things like add gold to yourself or your bank, increase the quantity of a certain item in your bag, add MORE items, modify your character appearances, and perhaps the most useful function, adding 30 guests to your Inn.(I recommend doing this rather than forcefully increasing your Inn's rank.)

While it is mostly safe, I always make sure to make backups everytime because it is possible to accidentally do some potentially harmful things like accidentally modifying your Baramos map and losing it, deleting a party member, or saving a weapon over one of your rarer ones.

Ah...many thanks. Yeah, increasing my guest number will be especially useful. I don't really have an interest in cheating myself out of completing quests on my own or acquiring loot, since that's the fun for me. But stuff like guest count, which is really impractical for most folks outside Japan, or changing face and hairstyles will definitely be worthwhile.

Does anyone have a screenshot or something of what all the fields should look like when adding a guest VIA the inn tab? Ideally I'd like to add the 30 guests in such a way that they're as authentic-looking as possible, and so far I haven't been able to find a save file that has any guests, so I haven't been able to figure out what all the fields mean or should look like.

I added 30 guests to the Inn, and basically nothing has changed in the game except "guests" now is 30 instead of 0.

None of the roped off areas are open.

What else do I need to do here?

Sort of quickly threw this together.

It was pretty easy to figure them out using SCIENCE.

Use the presets. Here are the colors in order posted by someone earlier. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/elektra/preset.png

Talk to Erinn 6 times. Each time you do she'll thank you and expand the Inn a little.
