Newest version here DQCheat.Patched.0.5

Ok guys, I finally finished all the item names. I also took the time to clean up the party tab and do some quick translations of the rest of the tabs. Most of the controls are translated, quite a few of the data lists are not(treasure map, accolades, monster names, skills, etc), so I still have a ways to go.

However, I'm sure that most of you will be able to do what you need to do now with it, so I'm going to take a break for a few days so I don't get totally burnt out on this project. I probably wouldn't expect an update till at least next weekend. I will try to fix the string problem though for the next update.

Again, if anyone notices anything blatantly wrong, please tell me so I can fix it. I'm not perfect:)

Thanks Yumil. You truly came along and saved the day.

For the character customization:
Faces:
70 - Aquila
71 - seems similar to the default girl #1 face
72 - Stella
73 - Same as 71
74 and above - blank space where face is supposed to be

Btw, anyone find the value for Stella's hair yet?

I try to test the character looking. But since I use cyclods and it's not great to open-close several times to test the stuff. I try converting the sav to no$gba sav but it kinda fail getting the quick sav log error when I load it.

Can anyone please lend me the no$gba sav? With that, I'll try my best to post the screen shot of style I try as well.

What do you guys think of this? I could do a female version if you like this one.

EDIT: Correct me if I am wrong about everything after 73 being blank. I went through 0-59 though. Every one of those is a blank face.

EDIT2: Fixed some typos on the picture. New picture is now in this post.

Thanks Exaltys, that picture looks good. I was wondering if you or someone else could make one for the hairstyles.

Yeah, I'll do the female faces then get to the hairstyles.

Good stuff there Exaltys, I'm just waiting for the hairstyles.

Here are the male hair styles.

As for female hair styles, I am getting to those by I figure 40-49 are the ten defaults and 50-53 as those depicted on the males.

READ THIS: I suspect this is not all of the hair styles. I tested a few above 53 and those were blank. BUT, Jack Abbot clearly has a beard and hair flowing on the back of his head. Due to this fact, I think other hair styles, and possibly more faces, exist somewhere in the numbers.

Female hair is done. Same "READ THIS" applies of course.

There are more hair styles, but they appear as head items. Quite a few of the cosplay armor sets have a head that is the hair of that character(I think one is a mullet).

I know I said I wasn't going to update again for a bit, but I had a bit of an epiphany and partially fixed the string problem.

Version 0.6 is here

The main reason I hadn't fixed the string issue yet is that I was having problems with the tool I was using and editing the IL to that extent. The function I wanted to do was too complex for the tool, so I was at a loss for then. Anywho, I had a bit of a realization that an external binary would be much easier to do as I could just have the dqcheat program reference and call my functions with it and I wouldnt have to make it with the tool. So, that's what I did.

When I say it's partially fixed is that I only inputted the numbers for A-Z and a-z, so no spaces or other characters other than letters for now. If you use or have a character other than the letters, it'll appear as a '?' in the editor and be some random character in the game(I chose the 1st character so I hope it's a space, but I haven't double checked it). This way you'll at least be able to change names.

The only things that have changed is the string bug and I added that dll. I'm going to restart my break now, you guys know what happens when you have a moment of clarity, right?

Thanks for updating it Yumil, but for some reason i can't get your 0.6 version to work. The past versions (0.5) work fine for me. Whenever i press open, and then pick my save, it freezes and says the program is not responding. I ran the program as an admin and it didn't work either.

Can you send me the save?

EDIT: Nevermind tried it on my laptop really quick and got the same symptoms... gotta figure out what's causing it really quick
