For those of you that have played this game extensively on PS what are it’s major pros and cons?
I understand it’s a spin-off off DQ1? (One of my favorite RPGS actually and that must be showing my age LoL)
Finally how does it compare to Minecraft?

Thanks!!

I'm not a massive fan of starting from scratch every chapter if I'm honest. Camera can be a massive pain in enclosed spaces.

I honestly think that Portal Knights is a far far better game.

By this, do you mean the original Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior on the NES? If so, no, not at all. Builders is, as I think you also understand, a Minecraft-style sandbox game. It's a series spin-off, but unrelated to the main entries.

it's nothing like that

it is Minecraft DQ style.

I did play the demo and do enjoy it. I love the music and enemies so far. By spin-off I mean at the end of DQ you are given a choice to join the dragon lord or not. If you chose to join you he betrays you and kills you and this is how DQ Builders starts out.

I remember seeing a minecraft style base building game with king of the hills like mode on switch. Was that build 2 or something else entirely?

I messed up , and built beyond the boundaries, so the first boss wrecked my town... Kinda tried to fix it but then got uninterested and stalled out.

The story is sort of a spinoff to dq1, but it's not really important.

I have the PS4 version, some or none of this might be specific to other ports.
