It doesn't look like anyone has done this so far, but I went ahead and did some translation for the newer version.(Editor 0.033, Process 0.90) It's not perfect, and the block file still needs done, but here they be:
Edit: By "translation", I mean inserting values from the older translated files (while matching the new format and listed item changes)
It appears there are still a couple things missing. Do you still update these files?

I see a previous suggestion about editing NPCs was added to the editor, and now I'm curious:
Is it possible to make the protagonist look like other NPCs, or is the player character programed differently from other characters?

How to change appearance 'story people'

1.Open the save file with 'save editor'

2.Export the data of "story people" that you want.

3.open 'export data' file wih "hex editor"

1.jpg

4. In most cases, it would be 41/21/61/01

5. Change to 11 or 31 or 51 ( recommend 11) -->save

6.import the data
3.jpg

7. you must input "face, head, body number"

8. save and dqb2 run

---------I changed Sister Esther and Gillian head type

I'm not sure what you mean - which part of the editor is that? I can only see resident HeadType that could fit that description, and it's just a numerical value.
It would be in the item section, but most other save-editing programs would lead me to believe only the DLC hairstyles come with item variants.

I cannot confirm this because I do not have it.

Do you know where the save data is saved?
Also, what happens when I load it?

Its saved in C:\Users\**USER NAME**\AppData\Local\Packages\39EA002F.DQB2XB_n746a19ndrrjg\SystemAppData\wgs\0009000000DF570E_00000000000000000000000067EB0CE8

when i load CMNDAT.exe and click the open button its looking for a CMNDAT.BIN file.. so i dont know how to even open the save haha

I just wanted to update..

I tested copying my save file *had to do it a few times cause there are a few directories there* out of the folder and renamed it to the .din file and once i found the correct one to use it seems to work fine with editing and saving

Any chance on this getting updated? Cos I've noticed that some of the appearance options don't work (namely the hairs and accessories) and will just default to the default. Some are also missing, namely the hairs added to the post-game.

I've tested up to ID 80 by the time this was posted for all of the human appareance categories:
-Face
-Head (please change it to Hair)
-BodyType
-EyeColor
-HairColor
-Skin Color

If anyone is up for the task, please try to keep compiling it. We can see in a future how we can work together. For the moment you can see what I got. Don't try to test faces as there doesn't seem to be more faces:

Also I've discovered that if you name an NPC using the name field given by turtle (as we need another name field), you can rename the humans like monsters or animals.

this is the job list, i need someone who has the game in english and japanese to confirm each id name. the monsters i took them from wiki but please confirm them:

This has something to do with appareance/race. Had a she-slime, changed it into a slime and a hammerhood, by comparing it with another slime I had. For the test:
-169 is slime
-170 is hammerhood
-808 is for she-slime

Screenshot is for slime. A9 00 is the value you must search. For she-slime is 28 03, in case you want to map that region to an input. EDIT: Following numbers might also count, tried to get a badboon npc but seems that i can't. these work with the hire-able monsters.

At least changes movement, as I also managed to get a chimera and it flied
