So i have the choice of marrying Nera, Bianca and Deborah. Does who i choose make much of a difference towards the late game or any part really? Can somebody explain any and all differences that occur? I dont want to make the wrong choice and have 3 save files in the game (1 for each wife).

The decision is between Bianca, Nera, and Debora. Depending on who you pick
you will get that character. Bianca is a mix between magic and attack, Nera is
a pure mage, and Debora is a fighter with support spells. You also get an extra
scene with Bianca if you go to Stockenbarrel, a special bed scene... There isn't
any major story change.

where is that bed scene? as for me, i made 3 seperate save
one with each of them

Thats what i did mrfatso. And i had it spoiler'd for a reason...oh well. But what happens to one if you pick the other?? E.g. Bianca when you pick Nera?

not sure, but i guess in Bianca case, if u pick her, nera and her childhood fren will get marry?
maybe if u pick nera, Bianca will just be sad and lonely back at her old town?

There were some other differences. The wedding for Deborah was fancier and on the casino ship. Then directly after getting married, you're sent to check the color of the pot heirloom. Bianca's wedding simply tells you to go find your new ship, and later you learn about the pot. I believe the hair color of your children also changes depending upon your wife. And through the course of the game, there is dialogue any time you talk to your wife so the content of that obviously varies.

Are the characters in this game designed by the same people who made the characters for DBZ? They seem to resemble them very closely...If you look at the icon for the game, the main character looks like Gohan, the father sorta looked like Goku mixed with Hercule and then the son of the main character (if you went with Biance) looks a hell of a lot like Trunks.

The choice of bride is mostly superfluous and basically amounts to who you like best. It barely changes the story and doesn't do anything drastic to any events. The minor differences are as follows:

Looks (obviously)
Dialogue in party chat (not too important)
Battle Ability (each of the three specializes)
Minor scene changes surrounding the wedding (where it takes place and what happens right after)

I chose Deborah because she is the fighter type, I like how she looks, and I find her dialogue amusing.
Maybe it's because I'm a girl

I chose Bianca because they had known each other before. And Crispin got burnt....And Deborah was too whingy.

same reason, deborah just seem to be whatever u are strong, so marry to me, dammit, while nera and crispin, crispin seem to be really in love with her, so nah, i am not such a jerk that i will get in the way of them, plus i just met nera(remember that dog i "saved", so nah...) so i am left with bianca and she seems to really understand the hero so yup, she's the one

Makes good sense to me. I also felt guilty not choosing her (when i chose Nera) so i didn't save and reloaded and chose Bianca.

Although i do find it funny, how after maybe...3 days of seeing each other after a 10 year time period, she is able to say "I love you" and that she gives birth maybe...3 days after falling pregnant.

WOW, can i type wonder drug? what kind of tonic did she eat to be able to give birth this quickly ;O

Who knows! The birth giving process seemed to take like 30 seconds (wow she must be strong) and she also seemed to be able to climb an epic mountain while she was 2 days pregnant (which was like...10 minteus before she gave birth, so maybe 9 months almost) and kill monsters etc.

guess this means that u don messed around with the ladies in dragon quest, now that explains why we can't marry 2 of them or even 3 of them... he had our health in his mind when he said this,probably cos he knew how strong and jealous they will be once they are pregnant

Lol. How would he manage to deal with 3 pregnant women at one time? He cant even control his first wife.
