ROM Hack DQ XI Translation

Hey guys! I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of how to handle the extracted RomFS for this game. I've only ever made pokemon Rom hacks and I'm not sure how to deal with all these .pack files.

I'm literally just trying to get to the text files so I can translate them from Japanese to English and release a layeredfs patch. I know I'm not the only one that doesn't want to wait a year to play! Lol.

Anyway, if anyone could be of some help I would greatly appreciate it. I'm assuming the text files I need are inside these .pack files, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to open them. I really don't even know where the text is, but I can find it if I can get inside the files haha. I did google of course and only found suggestions for using WinRAR or 7-Zip which I've tried to no avail.

Anyhow, I saw someone when it first came out editing the text for themselves so I wanted to for everyone else as well.

I did, it only shows jibberish since the .pack files aren't compressed as most other things are. Even when I was able to extract a few of them with QuickBMS scripts it won't load the extracted text files either (not that the program works that well for those anyway).
