Gaming downloaded games from playstation online store

ok, if i was to purchase a game from the PS store and downloaded it, then it will go to the hd right?, well what if at some time i wanted to free up the hd space? can i not put the downloaded game onto a usb pendrive? that would save hd space.

You can re-download the games whenever you want.
Once you purchase it you can download it infinite times using that account.
You can't put them onto external memory.

Ok, thanks for reply, so if i was to get a bigger hard drive and put it in, all i have to do is download it again. because my info will still be on the ps store site right?

I don't recommend installing a new hard drive if you haven't installed anything inside a computer before.

excellent, i don't have the new drive yet, shopping around at the moment, the PS3 i bought is the big one and only 60gb hd, i want at least 320gb, just out of curiosity, how big a hard drive can i go with the PS3?

as far as i've read, with a bit of doctoring the ps3 will accept a 1tb drive, that is the largest i have heard of being put in a ps3

ok, thanks for reply clarky, i don't think i need to go that high. then i can make this 60gb into an external with buying an enclosure for it.
