Gaming Download Station Availability

A quick question:

What is the average amount of time that elapses before a new Download Station version is released (in .NDS format)?

This volume looks promising (Mario vs DK 2, ELITE BEAT AGENTS, and Club House Games) and I'd like to know how long I would have to wait.

Usually once the games arn't popular enough for it to be worth it for the stores to keep the carts around.
