Is there a way to downdragde my vita's firmware that dosn't require swaping mother boards

No, it is an one way trip, you can only update not downgrade the firmware, CFW work on 3.68 and below.

Nope. There are no software downgrades available, the only way to downgrade is via swapping the motherboard.

The only way a software downgrader would become available is if Syscon was exploited, but since that's unlikely any time soon, you're stuck just swapping the motherboard.

No, formating your vita will only erase all apps, savedata, themes and the linked account but the firmware will remain the same
