Hacking Downgrading to 2.1.0 fails

Hey guys.
So I've also got this error.
The problem is v 11 is out now, I tried updating to 11 and then downgrading, but I get the same result. Error.
Is there a way to update to 10.7 instead?

Better yet; Put Firmware.bin for NTR (look on the installing A9LH section and download Firmware.bin) then try it

Try useing cakes cfw for the downgrade. I was haveing a similar error.

That wont help with the 11.0 thing tho

So I copied the firmware to the luma folder. Trying to DG now

I just downgraded a old3ds from 11.0emu to 2.1 to get the otp this morning. When I was using Luma 3ds the 3ds would crash and give me the error has occurred message when I switched to pasta cfw it worked just fine.

I'm a total noob guys, sorry, how do i switch to pasta cfw?

Update Emunand to 11.0, eject the sd, put a lower firmware.bin in the luma/ folder, reboot emunand, open plaisys and it will work. I just done it about 3 hours ago.

Just wondering did you fail at the titlekey ending with 8f02 or did you catch it? That was my fail point from 9.2 to 2.1. I had to film it to catch it because the screen shut off so fast.

I caught the error.
Its exactly the same with OP.

Update to fw 11.
Copy firmware for ntr from part 5 arm9 to luma/ folder.

Error appears at
12288 -> 02049

Around 6 times now I have been restoring my emunand_formatted backup from the OTP helper and trying again.

After reading this thread, I am now trying this way(copying the ntr from step 5 to the luma folder) but I keep getting the same error.

I have an O3DS, v11 on the emu, and didn't have any problem until now, I did formatted the fbi twice. Any suggestions?

Downgrading on 11 dont work properly if i remember correctly. Think you need to downgrade to frankenfirm and then downgrade again? Could be wrong

Yes, that was going to be my next attemp. Thing is, the author of the guide that everyone is using, @Plailect said it was not necessary to be on 10.7 to dg.

Anyway, do you happen to know a guide where I can follow the steps to downgrade to 10.7? How did you do it? And what is frankenfirm?

Sorry for all the questions but aside from the guide I really don't have much experience with this.
