Hacking Downgrading my Wii.....

Hi, I have installed HB Channel, and the 0.3g Gator loader......I also have 0.3b loader, DVDx installed well, everything went ok, but I just cant play a backup game. I have 3.3u, so my question is, do I need to downgrade to 3.2?

Burned Maxell DVD-R at 3x DIDNT WORK. BLACK SCREEN.
Burned Verbatim DVD-R at 4x DIDNT WORK. BLACK SCREEN.
Installed WAD needed to play game. DIDNT WORK. BLACK SCREEN.
Tried using hook. DIDNT WORK. BLACK SCREEN.
Re-installed 0.3 gamma
Re-installed cIOS36 Rev7
Tried again with both DVDs. DIDNT WORK. BLACK SCREEN.

Any ideas?

Try installing the ios that animal crossing needs.

I tried that, I installed IOS38-64-v3609.wad and still got the black screen.......

But, just to be sure, I should be able to play burned games with Wii 3.3u right?

3.2 Is usually reccomended, but yes you can from 3.3

Ok, I just downloaded Mario Kart, applied Brickblocker and burned at 4x and it worked prefectly.......I dont know what might be wrong with Animal Crossing

Get AnyTitleDeleter... no, just listen...

Run it from HBC. Don't delete anything, just list the IOS's it finds... that will help us determine what you need to do next.

Any anyway, Animal Crossing CF should have only been a 444Meg download... after you extract it, it's 4.3gig... make sure you download the 444meg version. It's all set to run for you, with update blocker already applied...

Wait, am I missing something? I didn't have to install IOS38 to get Animal Crossing running. I have Starfall installed, if that's a factor...

I just burned the game CARS and it also worked perfectly.

I had the same situation as you. But when i tried using WiFi it wouldn't work completely. I could open my door to allow guests, but they couldn't enter my town until i had IOS38.

Ok, I got it working. This is what was going on.

I burned the Downloaded ISO image to Maxell DVD-R at 3x, and Failed.
I BrickBlocked the Downloaded ISO image and burned to Verbatim DVD-R at 4x, and Failed.
I burned the Downloaded ISO image to Verbatim at 4x and Worked.

So 2 things could've been the problem. The Maxell DVD-r dont work with Wii, or burning it at 4x is better than 3x. But this was the final comparison.

Downloaded ISO Image with Maxell at 3x - FAILED
Downloaded ISO Image with Verbtim at 4x - SUCCESS

Just thought people might find this useful.
