Rxtools no longer supports the newest update. I would recommend following http://3ds.guide to get you updated to the newest hack (b9s) and get your system running the newest update using luma3ds
no need to downgrade the emunand. just put luma 7 or lower as your emunand cfw, then you can back up your saves with JKSM or save data filer before upgrading to B9S if you choose to.
If you install B9S you don't have to. Your existing data isn't touched by the install process.
