Let’s say I have an emuNAND at 8.0.0 created from SX dongle and I would like to downgrade it to 7.0.1. Let’s assume I didn't use a hidden partition for the sake of this thread.

Is there a way to do that without booting a CFW (aka without using ChoixDuJour)? If I could do that on PC, directly on the SD without hooking a Switch, that would be even better.

Thanks

SX OS is a CFW, you need to boot into SX OS in order to create an emunand, if you are on 8.0.0 and unpatched then just wait for SX OS support. Choidujour is a PC version to rebuild NAND, ChoidujourNX is a switch tool that people use to upgrade firmware to a specific firmware not downgrade.

You would still need a way to load the SX OS via dongle, modchip or pushing a payload through a computer.

Soo, in short, there is no way to mess with the EmuNAND files directly on the SD card to downgrade it.

You want to keep your Sysnand as low as possible and create an Emumand and then use ChoidujourNX to update to any firmware you want, people don't really use ChoidujourNX to downgrade to a specific firmware.
