Yup, this is another thread about downgrading from this firmware, but this time a little bit differend.

I'm up to downgrade my New 3ds small and XL version and I have old 3ds xl with Luma cfw but no arm9loader. So wanted to ask is it possible to downgrade without arm9 since everyone is using it in downgrading. Also what will happen with my old 3ds after downgrading? Thanks a lot

Still looking for my answer. And if it's possible to downgrade without arm9 is there any tutorial how to do it without it?

I was able to downgrade my o3dsXL no problems just by restoring my 11.0.0-33U sysnand backup.
Haha how funny... Don't listen to this troll just follow the guide and you will be safe trust me.

You can downgrade without it but it is not recommended. Just follow the guide and you will be safe

Its still most likely for arm9 users. I guess I will have to delete my CFW and install arm9loaderhax. Do you guys prefer much more arm9 instead of regular menuhax and stuff?

You can do that with Menuhax + Luma3DS (as said on the post above)
but some people prefer a9lh, some prefer menuhax

Do you have any good guide for arm9 tutorial? Some really simple. I know most of them are complicated.

You won't lose anything as long as you follow the guide. You basically clone your emunand onto the sysnand. You'll want to back up all your saves though last I checked. You don't need a9lh installed to downgrade the other system, but keep in mind that when you system transfer from an o3ds to a n3ds you will not be able to transfer back. The nnid from your o3ds will be stuck on the n3ds. All that means is that any legit purchases will be linked to the new system. You can still have a cfw installed again on the old system as long as you don't update the sysnand.

That said I would suggest putting a9lh on any system you want hacked. It's really convenient, and if you brick you can fix it without a hardmod.
