Hi I had some troubles in the past with retroarch and nxmtp using exFat and now I want start to use fat32. I have a big question.

I know that I can split nsp's > 4gb, but what about installing these? I am forced to install everything > 4 in nand or there is a way to install those nsp's in the sd?

Im looking forward for your responses

on 6.2 i used to install split games via usb to sd,i'm not sure how things are now with latest 8.0.0 firmware

edit:

Errr, maybe I'm missing something but I have FAT32 and have never split files above 4GB. They install just fine. I don't think you need to split them unless you're actually transferring the file to the card pre-install. You can avoid that by just using USB install (i.e via Goldleaf). As I understand it, the Switch automatically splits all files during installation so that ncas don't go over the 4 GB limit.

Nice

yup.. NUT.EXE or SXSINSTALLER.EXE and Tinfoil v1.55 or Lithium v1.55 and just install direct from the PC to the SD card (or NAND).. heaps faster than copying to SD and installing.

Also with the amount of people having their SD cards fail.. the constant removing and copying files to the SD card appears to weaken the SD adapter inside the switch
