Im thinking of playing dota 2 cause its soo popular should I ?
If you like MOBAs, go for it. I tried it yesterday and finished the tut, hated my life.
whats a moba? and why did you hate your life?
Massive Online Battle Arena or some shit like that.
I hated my life while playing that game. There was so much fuss going on about that game. 'It's so much better than LoL", "It's way more fun than Lol", "There's so many different features compared to LoL", etc. Yeah, I hated it. Stupid friends trying to get me to play games I don't like. -.-
Just play Smite.
It's better and a hell of a lot more newb friendly.
The OP question is subjective, so I'll leave here my personal opinion:
I use to avoid this kind of game. Even when they're good, they take away much more time than they should.
If you're willing to invest a lot of time and yourself. Going through studying some mechanics like magic damage, physical damage, pure damage, mixed damage, hp reduction, projectile speed, attack animations, turnrates, disables(stuns) and many more. Including 100+heroes and another hundred more items, and their interactions with other each other. And if you have friends or don't rage at other people easily.
Then you can go dota 2.
well, you came right for The Intenational 3, you should go check it out, its like the world cup for Dota 2, and you can learn a lot from watching pro players
I played the first tutorial loved it
oh, right, you can't play until you finish all the tutorials.
btw, tutorial is ultra-easy mode.
wait til you play limited heroes, then the other modes(all pick, all random, captain's mode, random draft, single draft). don't bother with least played.
you'll probably need these:
why do i even have this game
is too much work
Why didn't you post here?
We have topics enough already as it is, no need to double post shit....
OT: I'm more of a LoL guy. It's bigger, looks better IMHO, and more fun IMHO. Easier to learn too!
DOTA 2 gives you all the characters to start.
DOTA 2 > LoL just for that.
Wish I could play it. Even if both are archaic I do appreciate the classics sometimes when i'm burned out of real MOBAing.
ok beat the tutorial and play 2 online matches BUT I don't have all the characters to unlocked?
also whats a noob friendly hero?
that's limited heroes mode.
noob friendly hero? lich. drow. there's more but..
when do i get out of limited hero mode
not sure. 10-20 games i think. or try to change the game mode at the bottom part in matchmaking settings
