I'm currently in the process of softmodding my wii but I'm stuck. I'm using the Complete Softmod Guide. After I got the IOS 15 (two of them) and IOS 36, placed them into the WAD folder I created, I then extracted the DOP-Mii v13 into my SD Card but I can't run the DOP-Mii v13 program. I go into HBC then load bootmii and tried all the files in DOP-Mii v13 but nothing works. What am I doing wrong?

What files should I have as of now?

This is what I have
DOP-Mii v13 folder, WAD, Keys.bin folder, Nand.bin, boot.elf, bootmii folder, private folder (deleted the atkn folder inside it), installer (text document), and app folder.

Did I put any folder/file out of place?

Ok,

I'm very much confused. You are at the step where you select "Install IOS36 (v3351) w/FakeSign" in Dop-Mii. Can you get to the screen? Does Dop-Mii start. Why are you loading bootmii?

No, no, no.
You could install patched IOS36 without any ninja/downgrade/whatever tricks.
Click there.
New method uses AHBPORT and only needs updated HBC.
All guides should be upgraded to utilize new utility.

How do I get into that screen? I think you're correct on what I'm doing wrong. I don't know how to get into DOP-Mii.

I would advise you to stick to one guide only. Do not switch to another guide mid-stream especially if you are having problems on simple steps.

Here;s a video of someone starting Dop-Mii, where does it go wrong for you?

It's actually before the youtube user gets into Dop-Mii. I don't know how to enter the the Dop-Mii. When I click start at the Homebrew Home page there's nothing for me to click on so i click the home button on the wii remote and load bootmii.

Edit: I was planning on sticking to one guide as well.

So I created an apps folder and placed Dop-Mii folder w/ the 3 files boot.dol, meta, and icon. The Dop-Mii showed after I deleted the Key.bin and Nand.bin file. (Where can I place them?)

thank you for bearing with me rolandde

Fist of all, you need to make sure that you have a APPs file in the root of your SD card, then Make a DOP-Mii folder or Move the DOP-Mii folder to the APPs folder. Put the meta.xml, icon.jpg, and boot.dol files in the DOP-Mii folder and then just try again. If still doesn't work just try to go to the webpage a download it again and try it out. Post your results.
