I assumed you simply needed to go to the Gecko Codes website and submit either Version 1 or 2 into the 'Add Code' field and then download a new .gct file and import it into the Codes folder on my SD card (to work with Ocarina). I guess I was wrong... no luck with either of the codes.

Am I completely off on this process or am I missing a step?

Ok I used these codes; I think its version one. (Sorry they are actually version 2)

This is GCT and txt of the CC cheat.

http://www.mediafire.com/?rq2km2sew6mj9rl

I am using wiiflow, under wiiflow\cheats I put txt file, then put wiiflow\cheats\ GCT I put gct file. Then just turned it on in wiiflow and I got CC working.

EDIT: The above worked perfectly. For people using cfg, just put both the .txt and the .gct into sd:usb-loader>codes. And load as usual through cfg.

So cool that there's CC support. Thank you crediar, and thank you misteromar for letting me know how to get it working.

One question though, can anyone tell me what to change in that code to remap the waggle motion from R to ZR1(think that's the name of the little button right next to the R button). My hands are too big and it's really hard for me to hit the R. This is how I map it in Snes9GX and it works beautifully.

Also, I wonder how many people in this thread that were bitching about people wanting a different control scheme is going to use this CC support. Because it is THAT good. This is how the game should be played. Thanks again crediar.

Thanks.

Replace the number in bold with 004. That should map the shake to ZR instead of R.

hrm... well the code doesn't work for me with either cfg or USBLoaderGX. I'm putting the files where I've always put them before but running the game either way always pops up the message telling me to unplug the unsupported device...

I'm pretty sure I need Version 1 as that's the option I have to choose for the 'B' button cheat code.

It looks like this is the original code which is actually for Version 2. Version 1 should be this one:

Yep! That definitely worked. Thank you so much Heimdallr. Hitting ZR is much easier on my fingers(I need to get CC Pro and see if that's better for me).

Thanks again.

Kadin, I'm assuming you tried the MF links that misteromar posted? That's supposedly Version 1.

Well I took the text file you (misteromar) uploaded and then put in the code which I pasted above and was able to generate the proper .gct. file from within USBLoaderGX via Ocarina and it FINALLY worked. Apparently the text and .gct using this code that I made from the Gecko Codes website was getting fouled up somehow.

Either way, thx for uploading the text cause that's all I needed apparently... to tweak for Version 1.

Well he stated that the block code was for Version 1 and it's actually for Version 2. The linked files were the same as well... Version 2. Neither worked until I pasted in the slightly modified version above.

Wow...just Wow...
I thought the game was pretty good with nunchuck+wiiremote........Now with the classic controller it's even better !
With the CC O managed to get a couple of silver medals ....I can't imagine what would be like to get all gold medals in every time trial....
ohmy.gif

Anyway, great stuff.
I thought cheat codes were for losers who wanted infinite lives and such, it's the first time that a cheat code actually improves the gameplay without feeling I'm cheating !

By the way thanks to the guy who posted the variation for the Z1 button, I prefer it because it's less loose then the R button on the classic CC ( not the pro ), makes for an even tighter experience !
Thanks everybody, especially that credian genius guy !

Ive read a lot of nonsense but reading that someone hasnt beaten the first!!!!! level cuz he cant use motion controls, on a console about motion controls, is just pathetic. Hell ive beaten both 1-k and 2-k with the nunchuck + wiimote and its perfect. Stop crying and play the game as it is....

Seriously, shut up. There's clearly an effort to make the game non-motion controlled, so if somebody wants to wait for it, why shouldn't they? I haven't beaten the first level yet either. I probably could have, but why would I sully my experience by playing half the game in the way I don't like it, especially when the hack only took like 4 days. Go AWAY if you don't want the hack. That's what this topic is about. Discussing the progress, and possibilities for the hack, not going "OMG HOW COME YOU CAN'T PLAY THE GAME RIGHT?!"

Lame and pathetic, thats what you are. I'm not against more control options for this game, but not playing it cuz it has motion controls, on a console thats all about motion controls is just pathetic. I dont care if you want to wait for the cheat, but please don't bash on the Wii about hating on motion controls when YOU bought a motion control console, really stupid...

go troll somewhere else...would you? its not about hating motion gaming...most hardcore guys (at least the ones i know) bought their wii to play hardcore classic nintendo games (Zelda, Mario, Metroid,....DKC...) Most of them (myself included) don't mind motion controls...but putting an essential move like roll/G&P on waggle that works exactly (but more imprecise) like pressing a button is assinine...sure wiisport, metroid prime, and hopefully the new zelda are/ (hopefully) will be decent motion games...but 2d (or 2,5 d if you work in a nintendo PR office) is just not fit for waggling your wee...but as said many times in this thread: its about options...so: Let my people be...PLEASE

Thanks to Pixma for willing to part with 500 bucks for the community to get this code.

Edit: he is gonna pay up right?

Did crediar and Pixma make an arrangement before he created the cheat? If not, then I guess he doesn't have to pay. This was going to be made I'm sure regardless if there was an offer or not.

joybeba6679, next post you do in this thread still whining about why they want this hack and why do YOU think is useless, and I'm gonna warn you for trolling.

Wow! Just amazing! Love the Classic Controller hack. Crediar really is amazing. This could be a start of a new trend... Controller Hack Request thread anyone? Now if only this can be done the gamecube controller so that I can use the Wavebird for total wireless, old-school gaming... I can dream right? What I would do for an NBA 2K11 GC Wavebird hack...

That would be actually great if anybody could find a way to patch some Wiiware games that support the CC but not the GC controller to work with both.
I have an arcade fighting stick and it's great for shump , but it needs to be connected to the GC controller port.
Some shooters unfortunately don't support the GC controller at all, even though the button mapping is nearly identical to the CC.
Could a generic all-purpose patch CC to GC controller be even made ? Or are the calls different and unique for each game ?

just got this game and this sounds really usefull, is it just for ppl with a WiiRd? or can it be used another way, is so please explain as i'm not sure how to use it....m

just found the info on page 6 lets hope the CC codes are added to the list soon....m
